yosemite in color – june 12, 2008.  this is sueann’s first trip to yosemite.

on our hike to wawona point.  3 miles climbing 1800 feet in 3 hours.  i’m extremely out of shape.

this photo does not accurately show how exhausted i am at this point.  but the hike was well worth it because the views are amazing from here.

This past weekend was the LWF retreat in Livermore.  Great time of relaxing and getting away from everything.

More pictures from my trip to Yosemite.  My other photos were taken my own Canon SD800.  These shots were taken with a Canon 30D.  I was able to use this camera because I went to a free photo workshop held by Canon.  They let you use their camera equipment and learn techniques from professional photographers.  The workshop lasted two hours, and afterwards, the volunteers from Canon downloaded the pictures onto a CD and mailed the CD to me.  Freakin’ awesome!  No money was spent besides my hotel stay and gas.  What a great marketing device by Canon.  Makes me want to buy a digital SLR.

I was in Yosemite on June 26 and June 27 for some rest and relaxation.  Here are some pictures from my time away.
